In this blog, we will discuss how to create account on UBL Freelancer Account and verify it. It is very easy to open UBL Freelancer Account. To open UBL Freelancer Account, go to official website of UBL or click on this link and click on Apply Now. Now choose the type of your account as if it is Conventional account or Ameen (Islamic) account. Then select your debit card type (if you want to order) from PayPak, Visa, MasterCard, and UnionPay. PayPak debit card is only acceptable in Pakistan but you can use Visa, MasterCard and UnionPay debit cards internationally.
Now choose if you want to order checkbook or not. Then choose your preferred UBL branch and city and continue. Now enter your personal information including your name, CNIC number, CNIC issue date, CNIC expiry date, your date of birth. Then upload images of both side of your CNIC. Choose your mother’s name for NADRA verification and continue. Also choose your father or husband name.
Then enter your mobile number and email address. Now verify your email address and phone number by entering the OTPs received on your phone number and email address. In next step, provide your personal information including your gender, marital status, country of birth, city of birth, nationality, and other nationality (if any) and continue.

Now take a live picture of yourself for biometric verification process. After this, provide your address, current address and permanent address and continue. Now provide your education details, occupation/profession (choose freelancer to open UBL Freelancer Account), monthly income and upload proof of income/proof of profession. Then provide your source of income and upload any utility bill to verify you address. Remember! utility bill should contain same address as your CNIC and should not older than 3 months.
Now share your Tax details as if you are a US resident or US tax pair or have any US address or US phone number then continue. Then provide your account details including your expected monthly transactions, owner of account and who referred you to open UBL Freelancer Account and continue. In next step, nominate someone to contact if you are not available or in case of any emergency. Then upload image of your signatures. Use a blank page for your signature. Make sure your signature matched with your sign on CNIC then continue.
Now you have one last chance to edit your provided details and then agree to the terms and conditions of UBL Bank and continue. You will receive a confirmation code on your email, enter that code and submit application. Your application will be submitted and you will receive an account activation mail at your email address within next 48 hours. You will receive your account number in that mail too.
Use UBL Digital app and active your account using your CNIC and account number and create a password and PIN for your account. Scan your fingers within next 60 days for biometric verification using UBL Digital app, otherwise UBL will restrict your account. In this way, you can create and verify UBL Freelancer Account and verify it from your home.
