How to open Askari Bank Digital Account

Askari bank is one of the famous bank in Pakistan. Askari bank has more the 8.8 million users and 6400+ employees. It has more than 600 branches and 500 ATMs across the Pakistan. Askari bank is owned by Fauji Foundation. Like other Pakistani banks, Askari bank also allow you to open a digital account from home.

In this blog, we will discuss how to open a Digital Account at Askari Bank. To open an account at Askari Bank, go to the Askari Onboarding page or follow this link. Click on apply now button, solve the captcha, type your email address, and click on Request OTP. Enter your OTP and continue. To open a new account, click on Apply for New Application. Now provide your account detail including your CNIC (without dashes), Account Class, Banking Type, Account Type, Account Nature, Account Currency, City, Bank Branch, and Purpose of Account.

Then choose the Cheque book and Debit card types (if you want to order any). You can choose Union Pay or PayPak Debit card, choose card type between Classic and Golden, and Debit Card Nature as Primary. Also choose the number of pages you want in your Cheque Book (if you want to order) between 90 or 25.

Then create a user name and password for your account and reenter the same password and click on Verify. Now enter your Mailing address including your Country, City, and Address. Also type Expected Monthly Turnover. Now type your Personal Information including Your Name (as per your CNIC), Father name, Mother Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Gender, Date of Birth, Source of Income, Place of Birth, CNIC number, CNIC Issue date, CNIC Expiry Date, and continue.

Then type US resident information whether you are an American resident or not. Now upload documental proofs. You need to upload the documents including your images of CNIC, and letterhead of your workplace. You can upload documents in the format of JPG, JPEG, PDF, or PNG. After that, take the live photo of yourself. Give camera access to your mobile or computer, and take a live photo. You can retake the image if it is not clear.

Then read and agree to the terms and conditions of Askari Bank Limited. Check mark all the blocks and continue. Now scroll down and request OTP at your phone number. You can also request OTP at your email address if phone number is not accessible. Enter the OTP and continue. After this, your request will be submitted and you need to wait for 48 hours. After 48 hours, you will receive an account activation message at your phone number and email address. That email and message will also contain your IBAN number. After this, go to the Askari Bank website or download Askari bank mobile app and activate you account by entering your account number (received in email) and password. After that, your account will be ready to use.
