Bank Alfalah is a bank which is famous in Pakistan. It has more than 900 branches globally. Like other banks, Bank Alfalah also offers freelancer account for it’s users and for new users. In this blog, we will discuss how to open a freelancer account at Bank Alfalah from home.
To open Bank Alfalah Freelancer Account, go to the official website of Bank Alfalah or click here to go to the required page and click on next. Now click on Start Now and choose your account type. I preferred you to use current account. Scroll down the next page and choose the Self Employed / Freelancer Account type. Then provide your ID type, ID Number, ID Issue Date, email, mobile network, mobile number, and continue.
Now capture the images of your CNIC and upload it’s both sides on the next screen. Then enter OTP received on your email account and click on verify. Then provide your personal information including your father’s name, your mother’s name, your name, city of birth, date of birth and continue.
On the next step, provide information if you are an American resident or tax pair or not according to the mentioned options. Now provide your occupation details including your passion, type of work or nature of work (choose Freelancer to open a Freelancer Account), source of funds, and purpose to open that account.
Enter your preferred currency, account type, and account title. Then choose if you wish a Debit Card (Choose Card type) and Cheque Book for your Bank Alfalah Freelancer Account or not, enable or disable SMS alert and e-statement, and continue. You can disable or enable SMS alerts through Bank Alfalah app later.
On the next step, you need to take live images of yourself. Allow camera access to the web and take live picture and submit it. Then check mark the terms and conditions of Bank Alfalah and continue. A legal contract will appear which contains terms and policies of Bank Alfalah Freelancer Account and your personal information. Checkmark it and continue, you will receive an account creation request mail at your email address.

You will receive an account creation mail within next 48 hours. That mail will contain your account number, IBAN and branch code. To use your Bank Alfalah Account, you need to enable internet banking. To enable internet banking, go to Playstore or AppStore and download the Alfa by Bank Alfalah app. Turn on the app and go for the registration process and choose register now, and then Already Bank Alfalah Account Holder. Provide your account number which you just received in your email, CNIC, Date of Birth, Network Provider, and Phone number.
On the next step, choose a security question for your bank account and also create its answer. Then enter your email and password and continue. Now complete the biometric verification of your account for NADRA verification. Choose any style and enable camera access to Alfa mobile app. Scan your fingers or hand, it will match your fingerprints with NADRA database and verify your identity.
Now enter the OTP received on your mobile number and email address respectively. Then create a password and a 4 digits PIN code for your account. This process will enable your Bank Alfalah Internet Banking. On the final step, type your 4 digits login PIN and you will login to your Bank Alfalah Freelancer Account. Now you can use your account to receive or send payments or to pay bills.
