You will receive an OTP at your email address, paste it on the next step, and submit it. Click on Open New Account, choose Individual, then choose Asaan Single (Freelancer) type. Then provide account information including bank type, account type, account currency, and preferred branch. Also, choose if you want to receive SMS alerts or e-statements or not. Then choose product type and also write your name at the account title. Debit card (yes or no), checkbook (yes or no), disability (if any), the purpose of the account, and submit.
In the next step, provide your personal information which contains your father’s name, mother’s name, salutation, and name. Now choose your date of birth, nationality, city, city of birth, CNIC, martial status, and CNIC issue date. Then provide residential details including address, city, area, and postal code. Now provide your remitter information including his name, country, and relationship. Then provide your Kin information including his/her name, father’s name, relationship, address, and CNIC number.

Kin can be anyone who can handle your account if you are not available, or with whom the bank can contact if you’re not available. Now upload your documents for verification. You need to upload your live picture, a picture of the front and backside of your CNIC. Now take your signatures on a plane white paper and upload its image for verification purposes. Now upload the documental proof of the source of income. Then upload the image of the CNIC of your kin. Then provide any other document if you want to provide some extra document. Make sure to upload every image in PDF format, otherwise, the Bank of Punjab will reject your request.
Now agree to the terms and conditions of Bank of Punjab and review your application. You can make changes in case of any mistake. After reviewing your details, submit them for further verification. You will receive a verification call within the next 24 hours after the submission of your application. Make sure to attend this call and provide accurate information, otherwise, your request to open a Bank of Punjab Freelancer account will be rejected. After that call, you will receive an account activation mail and SMS at your email and phone number respectively. That mail and SMS contain your account number and IBAN. Just go to the official website or application of the Bank of Punjab (BOP) and activate your account by providing your CNIC, and account number and creating a password. You are now all set to receive payments from clients at your BOP freelancer account.
