To open a freelancer account at JS bank, go to the official website of JS bank or click here. Now type your name, email address, phone number, nearest JS bank branch, and platform for freelancing. You need to provide some documental proofs to apply for freelancer account. Here is the list of documental proofs.
- 3 invoices from six approved platforms (must not be older than 3 months).
- Proof of address
- A valid CNIC
For the verification of address, you have to scan and upload the image of any utility bill which contain the same address as of your CNIC. Make sure that the address on the bill must match with the address on the CNIC. If the bill’s address doesn’t match the CNIC address, then your JS Bank will reject your request. Also make sure to upload the clear copy of frontside and backside of your CNIC. It is better to upload the image of digitally scanned CNIC instead of simple captured image.

After submitting these required documents, you will receive a verification call at your provided phone number. You have to answer asked questions and your request will be forwarded for further verification. You will receive an account activation mail and SMS within next 24 to 48 hours at your provided email and phone number respectively. That mail will contain your account number and IBAN as well.
Then click on the link in the mail and activate your account by providing your account number, CNIC number and password. After that, upload the required documents on that web page and your JS account will be ready to receive international payments. Now you can use your account hustle free.
