To create a Digital Account at Standard Chartered, go to the official website of Standard Chartered Pakistan, and download its application from the App Store or Play Store. You can also download it through this link. Open the application, and click on Open an Account. Choose the account type, which you want to open. Choose the Standard Chartered Digital Account and click on Apply Now for account creation. Read the important information, and eligibility criteria, and continue.
Type your phone number, your email address, choose your identity card type, and referral code (if any), and continue. Then allow your phone’s camera access to the Standard Chartered app to scan your CNIC. Now scan frontside and backside of your CNIC and submit. You will receive an OTP at your phone number, enter that OTP at the new step. Now review your CNIC number, date of birth, and CNIC issue date which is fetched by the Standard Chartered app. Then select your area (province). Then choose any finger of your hand for NADRA verification. You can choose any finger from both hands.
On the next step, take your live picture for your personal verification. For this, your background must be clear and image brightness must be balanced. You can retake your image in case of any mistake and submit it. Then enter your name, CNIC expiry date, and continue. Now scan your preferred finger for the NADRA verification. Now type your full name as per your CNIC, choose your CNIC expiry date and continue.

In the next step, scan your finger which you have chosen in the previous step for NADRA verification. Then choose your gender, middle name, nationality, education, country of birth, mother’s name, father’s name, and employment details, and choose your preferred branch of Standard Chartered Bank in the next step. Now choose the purpose of the account, source of funds, and expected monthly income. Then provide your FATCA (The Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) details if you are an American resident. Now choose your country of tax residence and TIN.
Now provide expected account usage details in which you have to provide the expected number of deposits per month, and expected number of withdrawals per month, then provide your billing address. Then choose if you want a debit card or not, the type of debit card between Mastercard or PayPak (if you want to order any), a name which you want to appear on the debit card (if you want to order any), and continue. Now create a valid login ID for your account, make a secure password, repeat it, and continue.
Now review your account information and make changes in case of any mistake. Then agree to the terms and conditions of Standard Chartered Bank and submit your application. Then download the submitted details as it will be helpful in the near future. After completing these steps, your application will be submitted for further verification which may take 24 to 48 hours. You will receive your account number and IBAN at your phone number and email account after the completion of verification. Then go to the official website of Standard Chartered Bank and activate your account with the help of your account number. After activation of an account, you will be able to use your Standard Chartered account to send and receive money.
